The kids and I came up to Idaho yesterday to visit my family since my brother, Deny, and his wife, Jenn, are blessing their baby, Marek, this weekend. Jacob and Talvyn were being crazy little cousins together and Talvyn's head got bonked on the corner of the wall. Yes, there was blood. Yes, there was screaming. It was so much fun!!
Dana's husband and Talvyn's daddy, Trevor, was out being a good priesthood holder and doing his home teaching so Dana couldn't get ahold of him. Have I mentioned that Dana feels queasy and faint at the sight of blood and needles? My dad drove us to the emergency room in Meridian while I got to hold Talvyn's head in the back seat of the truck. I then got to accompany them in the back where they put 2 staples in Talvyn's head. It was so completely awesome!!

Only you would think that was fun! The rest of us would be worried about the well being of the child--but not you--it's all about the blood!
In DeAnna's defense, Talvyn really was alright. He was jumping from chair to chair in the ER waiting room. The only thing out of the ordinary was the blood.---Dana
