I thought that while I was posting pictures that I might as well post my cute kids on Halloween. We have a cheerleader, Iron Man, Marilyn Monroe, a samurai, and a pumpkin. My kids love dressing up for Halloween and I really get a kick out of them. The best story of the day was from Emily. As you know, she works at the preschool/day care at her high school. One little boy has been asking her all October what she was going to be and she kept telling him that it was going to be a surprise. When she walked in that day, he jumped up and threw his hands in the air and said "A pumpkin. You're a pumpkin". He was so happy to finally know. I thought it was such a precious story.
Oh...and my favorite that day was at the Halloween parade at the elementary school. Not only did I get to sit and visit with my friends and love on their kids but my second grade son stopped the parade line to come give his mom a kiss. I didn't even ask for it. How many 2nd graders that you know would do that?

Cute! They really chose costumes that reflected their personalities and creativeness.
