On May 1, 2009, I finally completed my college education. My family was here to help me celebrate! My sister, with her 2 kids, and my mom surprised me by coming on the day I graduated. I had no idea they were coming! It was awesome! My dad was here the week prior doing things to my house and did not let on, but he totally knew they were coming.
My 5 kiddos have been so great these past 3 years. Having a very busy mom around was probably not very much fun!

Congrats DeAnna! We are so proud of you!
YAY!!!! I am SO proud of you Deanna! I know the estatic yet very nervous feelings you are probably having right now! Estatic that you made it through such a gruling nursing program and suceeding with flying colors! This half of you is on cloud nine, wondering when you are going to wake up just to take another test or go to another clinical. This isn't a dream, just a start of a dream come true! Well done, Deanna! It's hard to keep a family together and go through such a DEMANDING program. You did it with grace and style! :)
Now for the nervous feelings of yet to come; NCLEX, new jobs etc. Just take those one day at a time! You are meant to be a nurse, Deanna. Heavenly Father has taken your hand and has lead you this far! He still has your hand and will guide you to your perfect destination! Stay strong, stay faithful and be oh so very proud of yourself- your family and friends are!
Love ya, Deanna! And welcome to the world of IV's, catheters, needles and meds. But more importantly, welcome to the world of love, compassion, service and miracles! You will love it, nurse Deanna!
Great job! I'm so impressed. I don't think I'd have it in me to go back to school.
This past week anytime someone in our house is sick or gets hurt the kids suggest we come over to you for diagnosis. Luckily nothing that serious has happened recently.
So someone in your family does know how to keep a secret - Auntie vi
