Since Jacob turned 11, he is no longer a Cub Scout. He is a Boy Scout. He earned his Arrow of Light award (the highest cub scout award). My parents came from Idaho. Emily & Chris, Julia, Becca, Katie, Deny with Marek & RyAnna came as well.
He crossed the bridge from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. He had to take off his Webelos neckerchief and put on the 11 year old Scout neckerchief. Good thing I had his Webelos neckerchief. What mom wouldn't cry?
Since last November, I have been the assistant Webelos den leader. I have loved getting to be with Jacob in scouts. From now on, he will only have men leaders. The den leader is absolutely wonderful and we adore her. Can you tell Jacob is taller than she is? Jacob notices!!!
The Pinewood Derby just happened to be the same night. He got first place!!! Way to go, Jacob!
