Bats!!!

On September 14, I came  home from work to bats swarming around the front of the garage. It was spooky! There were so many of them!!  I put the word on facebook and my daughter's father-in-law, Ken, who also lives across the street from us, came to our rescue. He constructed a screen that allows the bats to come out but not go in.  He put it up after a few nights of our neighborhood coming out to see the bats. We all counted around 500 bats coming out one night!! Here are some pictures of the morning after the bats came back and couldn't get back in.  About 50 came out that night and NONE, not one, came back the next morning. It is surprising how fast they can move residences.
