Yes, we actually have a pet!

So, just before Christmas, a gal that I work with offered a free guinea pig with a free house and everything. I asked the kids and Julia said yes. So, we got her. If you know me, you know that I am not much of an animal person. The only thing we have ever had are fish. Julia takes care of her and cleans out her cage. The name she came with was Lily but I think we have changed it to Fluffy. We all have started to like her. She makes these cute little noises when we come into the room. Julia told me the other day not to mimic the sounds back to her because it just encourages her to do it more. I like the little sounds. She also jumps up onto the platform in her cage when she thinks we are getting her some hay. Those are pretty much the extent of her tricks.
