Some of you may know that I have been the Ward Activities Chairman for about 1 1/2 years now. I also have been a nursery assistant for about 4-5 months (I really can't remember how long that has been. I have loved being in the nursery.)
Anyway, today I was released from both of those and was called to be the 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency. I have a couple of children that are very excited about this calling. Mostly, Katie and Jacob. Becca will go to Young Women's in August so she is a little frustrated about that. Emily is ready for me to be back in Young Women's.
I will really miss my babies in the nursery. I had one mom come and tell me that when they sustained me, she turned to her husband and asked him if she had heard that correctly. She was a little bummed.
I am excited about this calling. I have had a feeling for quite some time that I was supposed to be in there. I was actually thinking by way of a primary teacher, but this works too.

PS can you believe Emily was still in Primary when I was Pres.? CRAZY!
You will do such a great job in there. Just think those babies in nursery will soon be with you in primary.
