I can't even remember when we started having a new year's eve party over at our house. It usually consists of the same thing.......eating a bunch of yummies, playing games, dancing (especially the chicken dance which seems to have carried on to the next generation), lighting fireworks, and toasting in the new year (with sparkling cider of course). But even though it consists of the same thing year after year, there is nothing like ringing in the new year with friends. Our kids really think it is so much fun. This year, I have been so busy with other things that while going shopping one day with Becca, she reminded me about it and helped me pick up the supplies. Good thing she remembered!
