So, my parents came down for a week. Just that in itself is a treat, but this time, they came to put my new floor down. It started with taking out all the old floor. The carpet removal was easy but removing the vinyl floor in the kitchen was tough stuff. They usually put underlayment under vinyl and it was alot of work to get up. My kids even got into it.

As an added treat, while we had the refrigerator and oven out in the garage, my mom cleaned them out. Isn't she great?!?! She even did my laundry that week. I need her to live here all the time....

Deanna, your kitchen is BEAUTIFUL!! I am so happy for you- there is nothing quite like a brand new floor! I completely agree with Kerry, you definately deserve it!!
Next time send your mom over to clean my refrigerator and oven. Just kidding! The floor looks great. I'll have to come over and see it.
Th floor looks great---i know what a job it is to do. Barry and I took a week off work and did part of our house a few years ago. You have such good parents!!
