Well, the first half of my semester is over. That means I only have 2 months to go!! Yippee!!
I loved the rotation that I was able to do at Center for Change. I explained earlier that it is an inpatient facility for women with eating disorders. It was an amazing experience and I learned alot. I'm not exactly sure how to describe what I learned but from the very first semester, we have been taught that we need to use therapeutic language when we communicate with patients. I got to see this in full force at this place. Seriously, I still feel like I have so much to learn.

i just had a student enter one of these places. she had a disorder along with cutting. the nurses there were awesome and helped her a ton, but she didn't want to go back home. what do they do to get them functioning back in their homes?--sorry no caps..holding a baby.
