Emily has her license!

Well, it is a done deal. She got her driver's license today. I have been telling everyone how excited I am for her to get her license so she can drive herself to all of the many events she needs to go to, but suddenly, my heart is sad. I realized that I really liked being her chauffeur. I knew who she was with and got to know them too. I knew where she was going because I was going too. I got to spend fun times with Emily in the seat next to me with us singing to her songs that other moms probably don't even know the names of. We've had many heart to hearts with her in that seat and I am going to miss them. I'm just glad we got to have those moments for me to cherish. Thanks for letting me be your chauffeur Em!
