Welcome Home, Bob!

Some of you know that our good friend, Bob, has been in Afghanistan for the past 14 months serving with the Afghani army teaching them proper legal proceedings. Well, today he is home! We were so excited to see him and know that he is home safe and sound. When I told Jacob he was coming home, Jacob said "Is he coming home for real this time and not going back?" Jacob is referring to when Bob came home on leave. It was hard for all of us to see him go back, but this time he is home for good.

This is the sign we made and put on our garage door. Our friend, Lisa, found a bunch of flags and the Young Men in our ward put them all along the street and about a dozen in Bob's front yard. Janae, Bob's wife, got these cool signs for him and put red, white and blue balloons out. Seriously, our street looked so cool. From what I understand, Bob was a bit choked up. Welcome home, Bob. We missed you.

I think that was one of the coolest things I have ever seen on our street!

What an awesome thing! It chokes me up just reading it. Best wishes to the entire Church family. We are so thankful for Bob and all other members of the armed forces for everything you do for our country.
